Consumer sentiments are changing – research from Booking.com and Expedia released in 2022 has found that more and more travellers are searching for sustainable tourism options that align with their values.

Ecotourism Australia’s Strive 4 Sustainability Scorecard is a pathway program for any tourism business to start this journey in a simple and affordable way. Based on Ecotourism Australia’s international best practice criteria, the scorecard helps businesses assess which aspects of sustainability they excel in and where they can improve at the time the scorecard is completed. With the Strive 4 Sustainability Scorecard, you can work toward your sustainability goals and use your score to communicate how you are striving for tourism sustainability with your guests.

In partnership with Ecotourism Australia, VTIC will be hosting the Pathway to Sustainable Tourism Forum, a free information session unpacking how businesses can begin their sustainability journey using the Strive 4 Sustainability Scorecard. Don’t miss the chance to start your sustainability journey.
